2018 has really been an amazing year for women in many industries from fashion to the arts and even in sportswomen the world over a are making giant strides.
21-year-old American Gymnast, Simone Biles has joined the ranks of these women as she emerges as the first woman in history to ever win 4 all-around world title in Gymnastics.
Team USA reports that this would the eighth time in a row that an American has either won the world or Olympic all-around title. This means that Biles is responsible for five of those consecutive wins, as she has never lost a championship.

1. Simon Biles was born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus, Ohio she is 21 years old.
2. Biles is the third of four siblings.
3. The sports champion spent all her secondary education as a homeschooler and graduated in the summer of 2015.
4. Biles is Catholic, and also holds a Belize citizenship through her mother. She refers to Belize as being her second home.
