Multiple-award winning Nigerian, United Kingdom-based Nollywood actress, Florence Okonkwo, has starred in countless Nollywood flicks.
The movie entrepreneur, producer has received lots of local and international accolades.
This alluring screen diva, popularly known as queen of red carpet, who loves wearing blonde hair styles said during an interview that she loves it when people identify her with her blond.
The sexy and busty damsel also says her boobs are her selling point.
“I love blonde hair styles, you hardly see me wearing a different hair style, in fact, I love the way people identify me with blonde.
“A Nigerian actor sometimes asked me, Florence what are youcarrying on your chest and I jokingly replied “ it’s my selling point”.
In addition, on her recent award , she explained that hard work and commitment are the secret behind her success and above all says she thanks God for giving her the grace to overcome the world.
“My heart felt gratitude goes to my family, fans for believing in my abilities and Chima Movie Empire, my management outfit” she said.
She further stressed that, “I’m a hot single mother of two lovely boys waiting to find the right man, “she opened up.
Okonkwo, who attended Nazareth School and Holy Child College, Ikoyi Lagos, thereafter, went to Lagos State University (LASU) where she attained 1.2 degree in Banking and Finance. Then, upon scholarship she proceeded to study MA in marketing at Middlesex University, United Kingdom.
Her journey to destiny underway after Ruke Amata introduced her into the movie industry in 2012, where she played a Cameo role in the award winning movie ‘Shameful Deceit’. However, she has featured in countless movies.
In 2013, she produced flicks such as ‘For the Love of Money’, ‘Top Range’. Also, she co-produced movies like ‘Oga Detective’, ‘Broken Cross’.
She has featured on BFI movie titled ‘Return of the Don’.
In 2015, she came to Nigeria to produce a movie titled ‘Love Conquers’, featuring Chinwe Owoh, Vitalis Ndubuisi, Amaechi Muonagor among others.
Okonkwo’s involvement in the movie industry and community development gave her local and international recognitions which include nomination for 2015 prestigious Panache Global Entertainment Awards in recognition of her outstanding support to the entertainment industry in the community through movies in United Kingdom. She won the Global Hidden Treasurer Award in recognition of her cultural excellence; Podium recognition awards in 2016, as red carpet queen of the year, LA NUIT DES OSCAR UK Special Diaspora Prize. Also, Beffta Awards on her community championship; King Humanity for supporting charity; Women Appreciating Women (WAW) award for making impact in the movie industry; FancyTV Exclusive Personality Royal Awards in 2017 as most influential community woman leader.
Sexy, actress cum producer recently won Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture and also confirmed as an ambassador at Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPA) held recently in Los Angelos, America.
Last weekend, 27th October, 2018 another feather was added to her cap at the just concluded Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant held in Abuja where she was also the judge of the pageant and clinched an award for supporting the pageantry.
Again, On Sunday 28th October, 2018, she was honoured at Magic Lens Africa Movie Academy Awards for supporting Nollywood immensely.
