Police vow to arrest killers of Okowa’s aide
Delta State Police Command has said it will be swift in unravelling the circumstances surrounding the murder of the Special Adviser to Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Youth Development, Mr. Ngozi Ijie.
Police Commissioner Mr. Yinka Adeleke, in a statement by acting spokesman Chuks Orisewezie, said the command could not yet ascertain the motive of the killing.
Ijie, popularly called Ngozi, was reported shot dead by gunmen last Friday night in Ekpan community, Uvwie Council Area.
The community has since been in panic, as residents fear there may be a reprisal by the deceased’s supporter
