Nigeria decides: Buhari, APC clear all wards in Ado-Ekiti
Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, won his unit for his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), during Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Egbeyemi not only delivered his unit, he also delivered all 13 wards in Ado-Ekiti.
The implication is that President Muhammadu Buhari won at the unit and wards.
APC candidate in Ekiti Central senatorial district, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele and the House of Representatives candidate for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II, Mr. Olusola Fatoba, also won at Egbeyemi’s unit.
The Deputy Governor voted at Unit 14, LA Primary School, Ogbon Oba, Ado-Ekiti Ward 8.
The result of the presidential election at Egbeyemi’s unit shows that APC scored 154 to best PDP which polled 81 votes.
APC also coasted home to victory at the unit at the Senatorial election with 151 votes leaving PDP with 65.
In the House of Representatives election, Egbeyemi’s APC also won with 168 votes with PDP garnering 63 votes.
Unofficial results also indicated that APC won in all the 13 wards in Ado-Ekiti.
The state capital has the highest number of registered voters in Ekiti.
