Real Madrid send emotional letter to Manchester City goalkeeper, Bravo
Champion League holders, Real Madrid have sent Manchester City goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo an emotional letter wishing him well as he continues to recover from the severe injury he sustained.
Bravo, last week suffered a rupture in the tendon of his left foot.
The Chilean shot-stopper, who joined City two seasons ago from Barcelona will miss six months of action.
Bravo was handed a boost when he received a letter from the Los Blancos, despite playing for bitter rivals, Barcelona from 2014 to 2016.
The letter reads: “Dear Claudio. On behalf of all of us who make up Real Madrid C.F., especially our president, Florentino Perez, I want to send you our best wishes for a very speedy recovery.
“We are very sorry for what happened, as injuries are the worst part of football, but we have no doubt that, with your professionalism and commitment, you will continue to give a lot of joy to football fans.
“Warm regards, Emilio Butragueno, director of institutional relations”.
