Chelsea vs Bournemouth: Team news, injuries, possible lineups
Chelsea will Saturday afternoon clash with Bournemouth at the Stamford Bridge Stadium in the Premier League.
The Blues head to the match following a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United last weekend.
Midfielder, Cesc Fabregas remains the only doubt for the Blues manager, Maurizio Sarri, so the Italian may well stick with the same side that defeated Newcastle.
Sarri will have to choose who will start between strikers, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.
Forward, Eden Hazard is available for selection after he was handed his first start of the season in Chelsea’s last EPL game.
Midfielders, N’Golo Kante and Jorginho are almost certain to retain their midfield places, while Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will again battle for a place among the subs.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth head to the game following a 2-2 draw against Everton last weekend.
Bournemouth have won twice at Stamford Bridge during their Premier League tenure and lost once, most recently prevailing 3-0 at the end of January when Callum Wilson, Nathan Ake and Junior Stanislas all netted.
Defender, Adam Smith is available for The Cherries after serving a one-match ban, while left-back, Diego Rico could start after serving a longer suspension.
Forward, Lys Mousset twisted his ankle against MK Dons and will therefore miss out on selection.
Chelsea’s potential starting XI: Kepa; Alonso, Luiz, Rudiger, Azpilicueta; Kovacic, Jorginho, Kante; Hazard, Morata, Pedro.
Bournemouth’s potential starting XI: Begovic; Smith, Cook, Ake, Daniels; Brooks, Lerma, Surman, Fraser; Wilson, King.
The kick-off time for the match is 3pm.
