Old students to honour Senator Tinubu, others
Old students of Our Lady’s of Apostles School (OLAS) at Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State have named Senator Oluremi Tinubu among the beneficiaries of the school’s achievement awards at its 55th-anniversary ceremony holding on Saturday.
Senator Tinubu, who is representing Lagos Central in the National Assembly, will be honoured alongside a former Lagos State deputy governor, Alhaja Sinatu Ojikutu, among others during the two-day event.
Socials Secretary of the OLAS Old Students Association, Mrs. Soledotun Abdulkarim Yusuf, told reporters yesterday that the school, which was established on January 25, 1954, will be 55 on Friday.

The programme will also feature a ceremony to raise N50 million to tackle erosion on the school’s premises and complete the school’s chapel.
Mrs Yusuf said: “We will have a career talk, show a documentary and interviews with our former principal, head teacher and a special documentary about the state of the school. There will also be the old school night.
“Then, the second day, we will have the fundraising, reunion and networking with each other. We are also going to give awards to old students.
“People like Senator Oluremi Tinubu will be awarded. She is an old student of the school and she has been supportive.”
