Tu Baba, Davido, Others, Serenade At Felabration 2018

Felabration 2018 ended on Sunday, October 21, on a high note with DMW star, Davido shutting down the musical festival with an energetic performance, at the New Afrika Shrine.

Davido dished out several tracks from his musical works and left the crowd high on a full dose of his Afropop music.

This year’s edition which was themed, ‘Overtaking Overtake,’ coincides with the 80th posthumous celebration of the life of Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

Besides the music show, there was a symposium, debate, choreography and book launch on the essence of Fela, who has become a national hero, as part of events lined up for the celebration.

Earlier on Friday, Ycee and Reminisce kept the energy up when they took the stage. The likes of Pasuma, Reekado Banks and Omawumi, had earlier thrilled the followers of the annual event with interesting performances that represent the memory of the legend and man of the event, late Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

On Saturday, October 20, 2018, Tuface Idibia joined other top music acts to perform too. Femi Kuti, alongside the positive force band, also entertained dignitaries and guests with songs and musical instrument display.

As is to be expected, the last night of Felabration 2018 witnessed an even larger turnout of fans including regular visitors, foreigners and first timers.
