EPL: Mourinho takes decision on playing Lukaku against Everton
Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has reportedly decided to start Romelu Lukaku against Everton this weekend, despite calls from fans to drop the striker.
Lukaku struggled against Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday and has had a dismal start to the 2018/19 campaign.
The 25-year-old striker is without a goal in eight matches for the Red Devils.
Mourinho hinted that he may drop Lukaku following the defeat to Juve at Old Trafford, but the Belgian is set to be named in United’s starting XI against former club Everton.
Daily Star reports that Mourinho has resisted the urge to drop Lukaku, despite being tempted to start with Marcus Rashford up front.
United have only managed five wins in all competitions since the start of the season.
