APGA, ADP, PDM, AGA pick candidates

MORE presidential candidates have emerged to contest the February 14, 2019 election.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) on Sunday elected Gen. John Ogbor (retd) as its presidential candidate.
Ogbor immediately picked Mr. Jerry Chukwueke as his running mate.
The Action Democratic Party (ADP) on Sunday elected Yabagi Yusuf Sani as its presidential candidate.
Sani emerged the ADP candidate after an election by party delegates during its convention across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. It was witnessed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials.
At the ADP convention held across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, of 5,336,433 voters accredited, Sani scored 5,242,346 votes.
The Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) picked Pastor Habu Aminchi as its candidate.
PDM Chairman Chief Francis Igwebuike said the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) and the National Working Committee (NWC) would continue to uphold the ingenuity of its founding father, the late Shehu Musa Yar’Adua.
Aminchi pledged to restructure the country’s security architecture, fight insurgency and ensure total defeat of Boko Haram.
The All Grassroots Alliance (AGA) endorsed Mr. Chuks Nwachukwu as its presidential candidate.
Nwachukwu was picked at the party’s special primary on Sunday.
At the end of the coalition of results from 24 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nwachulwu received 4,698 votes from the possible 4,698.
