Fani-Kayode reacts as herdsmen behead PDP chairman
A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the beheading of the Charles Chrisanthus, a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chairman in Bare Ward, Numan Local Government Area, LGA, Adamawa State, by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
DAILY POST had reported that Chrisanthus was said to have been killed in the presence of his wife, Dorcas, in his farm on August 29, 2018.
Dorcas told the State Criminal Investigation Department that, “His attackers led by our Fulani neighbours repeatedly stabbed him on the back and on his stomach before beheading my husband in our farm and made away with his head. ”
However, reacting, the former two-time Minister while condemning the killing on Twitter said the protection given to Fulani herdsmen was disgusting.
He wrote, ”Fulani herdsmen beheaded Charles Chrisanthus, Chairman of PDP, Numan LGA, Adamawa State in front of his wife and then ran away with his head.
”I condemn this barbarity and I am outraged and disgusted by the protection that Buhari constantly provides for these Fulani terrorists.”
