The declaration which took place at the APC state secretariat in Yola on Monday witnessed a sizeable number of security men.
While stating his intent to vie for the post of Adamawa state governor, Ahmed accused the present administration of systematic failure, pledging to improve productivity in governance and the civil service of the state.
He promised to provide lasting solutions to the security challenges bedevilling the state, which he believes is as a result of unemployment.
