2019: Oyo Senator, Sunmonu, four House of Reps members pick ADC nomination forms [PHOTOS]
The Senator representing Oyo Central in the National Assembly, Mrs. Monsurat Sunmonu, and four members of the House of Representatives from Oyo State, on Thursday picked nomination forms of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), ahead of the 2019 general elections.

Sunday Adepoju (Ido/Ibarapa East), Hon. Sunbo Olugbemi (Oluyole), Abiodun Olasupo (Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola) and Taiwo Michael Akintola (Egbeda/ Ona Ara, picked the forms at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.
The five lawmakers, DAILY POST recalls, belonged to Unity Forum, a breakaway faction of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state that recently joined ADC.
The lawmakers, who were all elected on the platform of the APC in 2015, dumped the party due to what they termed injustice and impunity in ruling party.
Sunmonu, who picked the Oyo Central senatorial district forms on the platform of ADC is seeking a second term as a senator.
She was the first female Speaker of Oyo state House of Assembly where she piloted the affairs of the Assembly between 2011 and 2015 during the first tenure of Governor Abiola Ajimobi of the state.
Adepoju, a Lagos-based former Special Adviser and close ally of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has been in the green chamber since 2011 is seeking a third term ticket to represent Ido/Ibarapa East federal constituency.
