Lai Mohammed Talks About His Ambition In 2019

  The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Muhammad says that he will not run for any political office during next year general election as he will rather work with stakeholders to ensure the success of all progressive congress across the country.

The minister stated this while addressing Kwara APC stakeholders in Ilorin, where he assured that the state is set to dislodge the present occupants in the state.

Members of the all progressive congress loyal to the minister of information and culture Lai Mohammed are determined to wrestle power from Bukola Saraki and stripe him off his leadership status in the state. 

At a political summit with stakeholders, the minister for information and culture Lai Mohammed said although he is not interested in contesting for any political office, he would however work for the success of his party in next year’s elections.

In a related development, the only member of the Kwara state house of assembly who refused to dump the all progressives’ party, Saheed Popoola was treated to a heroic welcome when he returned to Offa, his hometown. he gave reasons why he remained in the APC.

The 2019 general election would be the determining factor of who wields power in Kwara state, is it the senate president, Bukola Saraki or the minister for information, Lai Mohammed.
