Nigerian-born Matthew Olosunde is expected to seal a transfer to Rotherham United

Nigerian-born Matthew Olosunde is expected to seal a transfer to Rotherham United, according to the official website of Major Soccer League.

Olosunde is now a free agent, after he was released by Manchester United, at the end of the 2018/2019 campaign.

His preference was to remain in England and the fullback is now close to joining Rotherham United, who have been relegated to League One.

Olosunde had been a key player for United’s U23 side, before he suffered a serious injury, which kept him on the sidelines for several months.

Although, primarily a right fullback, he is a versatile player, who is capable of playing as a central defender, left back and right midfielder.
