Senegal Spends $1.6m On CAF Awards– Reveals Sports Minister
Senegal Sports minister Matar Ba has revealed that $1.6M was spent to host the 2018 CAF Awards 2018 which holds on Tuesday.
According to Ba while speaking to reporters, was optimistic that the hosting of the awards will improve the country’s economy.
He further explained that $600,000:00 was budgeted for the local organising committee.
All guests and delegates for the event are expected to arrive on Sunday. Delegates and guests will on Monday visit Rowboat crossing to Goree Island.
On Monday, CAF Women Football presentation and the introduction of three nominees 2018 Best Women Player will take the center stage at Radisson Diamniadio hotel before CAF President, Ahmad Ahmad address the press in the Press Conference.

On Tuesday, the CAF awards event commence with Best Men Players three nominees press conference by 16:30 GMT while the award ceremony holds 19:00 GMT at Radisson Diamniadio hotel.
