Troops neutralise five insurgents, recover four AK 47s

The Army have neutralised five alleged terrorists and recovered four AK 47 rifles at Gara village in Borno North.

Army spokesman, Brig.-Gen Texas Chukwu, said yesterday in Abuja, that soldiers also recovered from the terrorists other items including five magazines, 55 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and eight rounds of 5.56mm NATO ammunition, 11 handsets, assorted drugs, cooking utensils, some quantity of provisions and six horses.
