Champions League: What Harry Kane did after Tottenham dumped Man City [VIDEO]
Tottenham Hotspur captain, Harry Kane, shared a video of his celebrations after his side’s Champions League quarter-final victory over Manchester City on Wednesday night at the Etihad.
Tottenham edged Pep Guardiola’s side out of the competition in an epic encounter, advancing on away goals after the tie finished 4-4 on aggregate.
Five goals were scored in the opening 21 minutes, and a controversial goal from Fernando Llorente decided the game.
The VAR also disallowed Raheem Sterling’s late winner.
Kane, who did not feature in the match due to an ankle injury he sustained during Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final first leg tie last week Tuesday, posted a video of his celebrations on his official Twitter page.
The England intentional also congratulated his teammates for their victory.
Tottenham will now face Ajax in the Champions League semi-final tie later this month.
“Omggg! I love you boys!!!! #COYS #UCL,” Kane posted on Twitter alongside the video of his celebrations.
