Bauchi guber: Saraki reacts as Sen Bala Mohammed wins
Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reacted to the outcome of the Bauchi State governorship election.
FAZE NOTE TV had reported that Sen. Bala Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) emerged the new governor of Bauchi State after polling 515,113 votes to defeat the incumbent, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 500,625 votes.
Announcing the results of Governorship elections on Monday, the Returning Officer,Prof. Mohammed Kyari, said total votes cast was 1,339,66, out of which 1,111,406 votes were valid and 22560 votes, invalid.
Reacting, Saraki on his Twitter page congratulated Senator Bala Mohammed.
He said, “Congratulations Sen. Bala Mohammed on your election as the next Governor of Bauchi State. As you embark on this journey of governing the affairs of your home-state.
“I wish you wisdom and grace for the task ahead.”
