Why Igbo will vote for Sanwo-Olu, by Igbokwe
The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) Publicity Secretary, Comrade Joe Igbokwe, has said the Igbo community in Lagos will vote for the ruling party and its candidates.
Igbokwe said the Igbo were aware that APC was the only party that could defend their interest.
He noted that the propaganda by the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against the ruling APC would not change the voting pattern in the February and March elections.
Igbokwe said the APC governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, would fulfil his promise to the ethnic nationality under an all-inclusive government.

The APC spokesman stated this at a town hall meeting he organised with leaders of Ndigbo in Lagos APC for Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Dr Obafemi Hamzat.
The event was witnessed by Dr. Hamzat and the party’s state chairman, Alhaji Tunde Balogun.
Igbokwe said the strategic working relationship between the APC and Igbo in Lagos would be sustained, assuring the people that the ethnic nationality would vote for Sanwo-Olu.
The Igbo leader described Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat as a perfect combination of intellect, dynamism, principle, focus and symbol of predictable performance.
