3,000 Cs of O more for Ogun landlords

Amosun Ogun

Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun has said the distribution of Certificates of Occupancy (CofOs) and other land title documents, under the Homeowners’ Charter Programme, will continue until all successful applicants get their documents.
Allaying the fears that the programme will soon end, Amosun urged other applicants, who had received notice of assessment, to make payments, one of the requirements under the scheme, to be part of the subsequent batches of beneficiaries.
The governor, who was represented by Agriculture Commissioner Mrs. Adepeju Adebajo, spoke at the 36th edition of the presentation of Cs of O and building plan approvals to over 3,000 beneficiaries at the Arcade Ground, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, the state capital.

He said the scheme would enable the citizenry benefit from the government’s urban renewal policy through effective planning of infrastructural facilities.
Amosun said: “Our administration always puts smiles on the faces of the people in the state with many laudable projects, just as we are presenting Cs of O to successful applicants every month.
“This programme will not end until those who meet up with the requirements and pay for assessment get their land title documents.”
